How To Retain Your Employees Without Breaking The Bank - Presented by Nancy RobertsMost organizations believe that if you want to attract and retain motivated, engaged employees, you have to pay for it. However, research shows there are other things that can motivate employees more than a paycheck. While it is fair to assume all employees want certain things, there are specific drivers to employee retention that most engagement initiatives will miss. In this session we will learn:
“Hang on To Your Stars – 3 Keys to Engaging your Employees” - Presented by Beth SearsWhen a star employee leaves not only does the organization lose his/her unique skills and knowledge, but other employees wonder why they left and whether they should stay. This downward spiral affects not only the team but the culture of the organization as well. HR manager’s must be able to influence employees to stay by helping leadership to create a collaborative culture that engages and motivates. This interactive presentation will cover ways to communicate in a manner that engages employees starting with onboarding and helps to teach techniques to create a collaborative culture in a multi-generational workplace.
Paul Keneally will provide an hour long legal update to wrap up the conference. He will focus on some of the current employment issues surrounding employee engagement and retention, as well as cover the new sexual harassment discrimination laws and continuing education recommendations. He will also touch upon the challenges of disciplining employees.
