The New York legislature has passed a substantial amount of new legislation on employment law in the last six months. These laws cover many different issues, including expanding the definition of sexual harassment, adding protected categories to the New York Human Rights Law, expanding retaliation protections under Labor Law 215, limiting salary history inquiries, expanding equal pay claims, and changing the requirements for voting leave. This program will cover all of these changes and provide advice on best practices to ensure compliance.

By the end of this session, participants will:

Be fully versed in these new laws.

Understand any changes that need to be made to employee handbooks.

Learn best practices to ensure compliance with these new laws.
