Description: Job Title: Human Resource Generalist

To keep us on track and make sure both the company infrastructure and employees are engaged and prepared and have the tools needed to handle this growth, AAHC has an ongoing development program led by an outside consulting group. We invest in our people. In addition to the ongoing internal development, AAHC supports employees attending training activities such as those offered by NHRA, SHRM, SMC and the Chamber. As a HR Generalist your role includes recruitment, onboarding, and many of the functional areas of HR as you support a specific group within the company. This includes HR Generalist level knowledge of functional areas related to activities such as PFL, FMLA, DBL, WC, recruitment and onboarding. Occasional day travel to other western NY areas, using the company car to onboard homecare aides, is required. 

 Required Qualifications: 

  •  Support the AAHC culture with your collaborative, fun, and friendly demeanor 
  • Desire to make sure the people we serve experience top notch and positive customer service.
  • Willing to drive to outer areas, using the company car, to meet and orient new home care aides. We believe in the power of face to face meetings. 
  • Valid NYS Driver’s License Reliable vehicle 
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in the Human Resources Associates Degree. 
  • Minimum two years of HR functional duties 

 Desired Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors preferred 
  • HR Certification
