Thera Blasio from the Alzheimer’s Association’s Rochester & Finger Lakes Region Chapter will lead a discussion on cognitive impairment and dementia in the workplace. This program provides Human Resource professionals with information on the 10 Warning Signs, the latest research on brain health to inform their wellness programs, and a detailed description of free Care and Support programs available.  It will also review the recommendations from the white paper released by the Alzheimer’s Association and Bank of America (July 2024) that encourages companies to create and foster dementia-friendly workplaces.
