As it becomes increasingly difficult to hire top talent, organizations are taking a closer look at how to optimize the capabilities of the people they already have – not to mention, keeping them happy and loyal. According to the SHRM 2019 State of the Workplace research, the skills shortage continues to worsen and few organizations report improvements – which means more organizations are focusing on reskilling and developing their people in new ways.
