Presenter Information

GVCSHRM is always looking for great topics and presentation from our partners. If you and/or your organization would like to submit a program Application/outline to GVCSHRM, please go HERE and provide as much detail as possible. Final details will be ironed out as the program is confirmed. It is our expectation that programs will be ~2 hours in length.

Keep in mind that approved program topics will need to fall within one or more of the following categories:

  • Benefits & Compensation
  • Business Leadership/Strategy
  • Diversity/Inclusion
  • Employee Relations
  • Ethics
  • Global HR
  • HR Consulting
  • HR Technology
  • Labor Relations
  • Organization and Employee Development
  • Safety & Security
  • Recruitment/Staffing
  • Wellness

Please review some notes relating to program logistics and process:

  • Applications will be reviewed upon receipt.
  • Approval of applications is subject to the following criteria:
    • Applicability to HR professionals
    • Eligibility for SHRM & HRCi recertification credits
    • Duration/schedule
  • Notice of approved program description/application and the scheduled program date will be sent via email provided on form.
  • In advance of the program
    • GVCSHRM will…
      • Obtain SHRM & HCRi recertification credentials
      • Market program through Social Media and email marketing to GVC SHRM membership and past program attendees 
        • Target Marketing schedule would ideally start no later than 6 weeks prior to the Program Date, but timing is subject to recertification approval
        • We recommend coordination of marketing with presenter organizations and Sponsors
      • Coordinate the Program Logistics with Speakers/Sponsor/Attendees
        • In-person logistics (including hospitality)
        • Virtual logistics (GVCSHRM will host the virtual space)
        • Offer to schedule a virtual test-run the week prior to the program
      • Speakers/Presenters agree to…
        • Provide GVCSHRM with all program materials, presentation, and any additional information within 72 hours of the program date to share with attendees
    • Post-Program
      • GVCSHRM will distribute program material and speaker contact information to program attendees
